War Room — Spiritual Link System

System Overview

The War Room is a building that unlocks the Spiritual Link — a system that automatically levels up heroes without consuming traditional upgrade resources. Heroes placed into Link Slots instantly reach the current Link Level, making it one of the most powerful progression mechanics in the game.

War Room Building

The War Room can be upgraded to Level 20, with each level raising the maximum Combat Level cap — which limits how high the Link Level can be raised.

At Level 20, the Combat Level cap reaches 140.

Note: The Link Level cannot exceed the Combat Level. Upgrade the War Room to unlock higher hero level caps.

Spiritual Link Mechanics

Leader Heroes

Definition: The top 5 heroes with the highest hero level are automatically identified as "Leader Heroes" and placed into designated slots of the Spiritual Link.

How It Works:

  1. The system automatically identifies your 5 highest-level heroes
  2. These heroes are placed into special Leader Hero slots
  3. The lowest level among the five leader heroes becomes the Link Level
  4. Example: If your leader heroes are levels 120, 115, 110, 105, and 100, the Link Level is 100

Important: Leader heroes determine the Link Level but are not themselves subject to the Link — they level through normal means.

Link Level System

The Link Level is the automatic level that non-leader heroes reach when placed in Link Slots.

Key Rules

  1. Base Link Level: Determined by the lowest level of the 5 leader heroes
  2. Advanced Link Level: Once all 5 leaders reach Level 100, spend Link EXP & Link Coins to raise the level beyond 100
  3. Combat Level Cap: The Link Level cannot exceed the Combat Level (set by War Room building level)
  4. War Room must be in Advanced Mode to increase the Link Level beyond 100

Slot Mechanics:

  • Instant Level Up: Hero instantly reaches the current Link Level when placed — at no cost
  • Resource Refund: A hero's previously spent upgrade cost is returned when they enter a slot
  • Slot Cooldown: Removing a hero resets them to Level 1 and puts the slot into cooldown
  • Simultaneous Level Up: All heroes in slots level up together when the Link Level increases
  • Statue Activation: Heroes reaching Level 80 through the Link can activate their hero statue

Link Level Cap Calculation

Example: War Room Lv 20 (cap 140) + 3 Myth heroes (+3) + active bonds = 143+ potential Link Level cap.


Hero Bonds

Total: 37 Hero Bonds (IDs 1–40, some IDs unused). Hero Bonds provide attribute bonuses when specific hero combinations reach quality thresholds. Reaching Tier 3 also permanently raises the Link Level cap by +1.
